Activogland Special Care Shampoo was developed specifically for the care of hair affected by hereditary hair loss. Often, hair first becomes thinner and more brittle before eventually falling out. One cause of this is the inhibitory effect of the male sex hormone testosterone on the activity of hair cells. Therefore, Activogland contains the active ingredient rhodanide, which specifically supports hair care. Rhodanide is a chemical compound of sulfur, carbon, and nitrogen and plays an important role in hair cells. It promotes cell division, supports energy metabolism, and thus contributes to the activity of hair cells. Since some rhodanide is removed from the scalp with each wash, the hair roots can weaken over time. For people with hereditary hair loss, this loss can be an additional burden.
