Homoeopathy - Globules
What are globules
In homeopathy, globules are one of the most popular dosage forms. The white scattered globules are known for their gentle and natural mode of action, which can relieve many different ailments. Initially, globules consist exclusively of sucrose, i.e. sugar. Only during further processing are the globules wetted with a homeopathic active ingredient that can relieve corresponding ailments.
Homeopathic remedies, such as globules, are available in different "potencies". The more often a homeopathic remedy has been potentized (diluted), the more effective it is. The basis of a homeopathic remedy is the initial solution of an active ingredient (mother tincture). This active ingredient is diluted several times and "spilled" after each dilution step. This process is called potentization.
When the desired potentization is reached, the globules are wetted with the active ingredient. The dilution ratio is indicated with different potencies. A "D" potency stands for a decimal potency. The dilution ratio is 1:10 (ratio of active substance and starting substance). A "C" potency stands for centesimal, the dilution ratio is 1:100.
In the production process of globules, different active ingredients are used, depending on the area of application. The majority of globules are made with a herbal starting material. However, there are also globules that have animal or mineral starting materials.
Mode of action & intake of globules
The mode of action of globules is derived from the superior homeopathy. According to the similarity rule of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a homeopathic remedy (e.g. globules) helps with complaints if this remedy, undiluted, triggers the same symptoms in healthy people. The dosage of globules can' t be determined uniformly, because the potency level and the amount to be taken depend on the course of the disease and the stage. Please consult with your alternative practitioner. The more severe the symptoms become, the more frequently you can take globules. Listen to your body. <7p>
When taking globules for the first time, there may be a so-called "initial reaction". The body may react strongly to the globules and aggravate the complaints for a short time. But do not worry: this is a signal from the body that the self-healing powers have been activated. But here, too, you should consult with your naturopath or alternative practitioner.
