Areas of application: Hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, skin disinfection. Special information: Use externally, undiluted! Highly flammable! Store medicines at 25 °C, away from sources of ignition and out of the reach of children! Surgical hand disinfection: Min. Pour 5 ml of AHD 2000® into the hands and forearms and rub until dry, paying particular attention to the fingertips and nail folds. Duration: 11/2 minutes. Hygienic hand disinfection: (also in the case of § 18 Infection Protection Act (IfSG)) The hands must be kept moist by the concentrated preparation during the entire exposure time (at least 3 ml - 30 seconds). Skin disinfection: Completely wet the patient's skin area to be disinfected with AHD 2000® and allow it to dry, especially before using thermoelectric devices. Exposure time at least 15 seconds; for skin rich in sebaceous glands (e.g. forehead) at least 1 minute.
