Alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich must not be used: to disinfect large, open wounds. Particular caution is required when using alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich: contact with eyes should be avoided, vapors can cause drowsiness and dizziness. When using alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich with other medicines: No interactions known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. Pregnancy and breast-feeding Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any medicines. Driving and using machines: No special precautions are required. How to use alcohol 70 vol% Hetterich? Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: For hygienic hand disinfection, the hands are rubbed with the solution and kept moist with the solution for 1 minute. Alcohol 70 vol.-% Hetterich does not have a spore-killing effect and is therefore not suitable for storing sterile instruments and syringes. Type of application For use on the skin. For cooling compresses, the solution should be diluted with equal parts of water. Duration of application Notes: The time specification of one minute is a minimum time. Depending on the additional difficulties (e.g. moist skin, soiling of the skin, risk of the procedure), the exposure times should be extended. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich is too strong or too weak. What side effects are possible? Like all medicines, alcohol 70% vol. Hetterich can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. How should alcohol 70 vol% Hetterich be stored? Keep medicines out of the reach of children. You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label/carton after “Use by”. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions Highly flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition! Store tightly closed. Warning If the solution is spilled, measures against fire and explosion must be taken immediately. Suitable measures include picking up the spilled liquid and diluting it with water, ventilating the room and eliminating sources of ignition. Further information What alcohol 70% vol.
