Application Area

- Fungal infections caused by yeasts, dermatophytes, and other fungi, such as: - Skin infections - Fungal infections in body folds - Athlete's foot - Fungal infections between the toes or fingers (interdigital mycosis) - Fungal infections of the nail fold (nail fold) - Pityriasis versicolor (tinea versicolor) - Fungal infection of the external female genitalia - Fungal infections of the glans (balanitis) - Erythrasma (skin infection with certain bacteria) - Seborrheic dermatitis (skin inflammation with increased sebum production and fungal infection)

Application Info

There are various pathogens that can cause illness. Only a doctor can determine whether the medication is effective against the specific infection.

Application Notes

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. How to use? Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Or: Apply the medicine to the affected areas in the genital area. How long should it be used? The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. Treatment should be continued for 2 weeks after symptoms have subsided. General treatment duration: for fungal skin infections, 3-4 weeks; for tinea versicolor, 2-4 weeks; for pityriasis versicolor, 1-3 weeks; for fungal infections in the external genital area, 1-2 weeks. Please inform your doctor if no improvement occurs after 4 weeks of treatment. Overdose? No symptoms of overdose are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor. Missed a dose? Continue the treatment as normal at the next scheduled time (i.e., do not double the dose). General advice: Pay particular attention to accurate dosing, especially for infants, young children, and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any possible side effects or precautions. A dosage prescribed by your doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor tailors the dosage to your individual needs, you should therefore use the medicine according to their instructions.

Dosage

All age groups: 1/2 cm strip of ointment. All age groups: Distributed throughout the day.

Contraindication

What are the contraindications? - Hypersensitivity to the ingredients. What about pregnancy and breastfeeding? - Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. What should you be aware of? - Caution if you are allergic to antifungal agents (e.g., clotrimazole)! - Emulsifiers (e.g., cetyl/stearyl alcohol) can cause skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis). - There may be drug interactions. Therefore, you should always inform your doctor or pharmacist about any other medications you are currently taking before starting treatment with a new medication. This also applies to medications you buy yourself, use only occasionally, or whose use was some time ago.
