GALL PHARMA Lutein 10 mg GPH capsules The yellow carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin occur naturally in particularly high concentrations in the retina, especially in the yellow spot of the human eye. The yellow spot or macula lutea is responsible for sharp vision and contains most of the sensory cells. FloraGLO Lutein® (FloraGLO is a registered trademark of Kemin Industries, Inc.) is used as the raw material for the lutein capsules. It is a high-quality plant-based raw material that is standardized to contain free lutein and zeaxanthin. The gelatin used in the hard gelatin capsules is BSE/TSE-tested pharmaceutical gelatin.
