GALL PHARMA Lutein Zeaxanthin GPH capsules Lutein and zeaxanthin belong to the group of carotenoids. These yellow pigments occur in high concentrations in the retina - yellow spot. Lutein and zeaxanthin are naturally found primarily in green leafy vegetables such as spinach, as well as in corn and various types of fruit. Lutein / Zeaxanthin GPH capsules contain 6 mg of lutein in the form of a lutein ester and 6 mg of zeaxanthin as a 20% powder in a hard gelatin capsule. Both dyes are selectively enriched in the yellow spot of the retina. Lutein ester is a high-quality raw material of natural origin. It is the precursor to lutein. The conversion factor is 2:1 (10% ester corresponds to 5% free lutein). Zeaxanthin 20% is a high-quality powder of plant origin. The orange powder has a typical smell and taste. The gelatin used in the hard gelatin capsules is BSE/TSE-tested pharmaceutical gelatin.
